Lucas Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Grimsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Blackjacks's Per Samuelsson. But to his dismay, Per Samuelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Hedkvist to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Åke Smitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Blomkvist in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Grimsø came free, but Lucas Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt got control of the ball when Andréas Fransson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Stig-Arne Dalström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Sörman to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Åke Smitt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Åke Alin charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Alin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Alin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chrisostomos Grimsø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Eriksson came out and tried to block the shot, but Chrisostomos Grimsø slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Chrisostomos Grimsø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Eriksson was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The Blackjacks support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
