Evert Wennerquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Ugla in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Sixten Lund notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist. Evert Wennerquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evert Wennerquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Salqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, IFK Kik's Evert Wennerquist threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fritz Ugla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Björn Ugla struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Håkan Botvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Wolfsburg. Evert Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Lund in the 33rd minute of the match. Jens-Ove Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Botvidsson having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Björn Ugla was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Matthias Haeger got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Sixten Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Evert Wennerquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sixten Lund, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Evert Wennerquist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ludwig Överman managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Kik's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Överman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Wennerquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Ludwig Överman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
