The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tord Wickander charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tord Wickander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Wickander to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Blomkvist in the 5th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Anusruta Penisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Gert Kaxe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vykans Vikingar's Anusruta Penisson did a great save. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Blackjacks got a freekick which was hit by Olov Åhman. After 20 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Almkvist. Elias Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Blackjacks got a freekick which was hit by Olov Åhman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Hafström in the 35th minute of play forced Blackjacks's goalkeeper Lucas Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Jens Hafström made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Eriksson. Blackjacks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lucas Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Vykans Vikingar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anusruta Penisson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Hafström in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Kalle Deckbergh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Eriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 60th minute Elias Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anusruta Penisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes, Gert Kaxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackjacks and the Vykans Vikingar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Blackjacks got a freekick which was hit by Gert Kaxe. 67 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's Marcus Engström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 68 played minutes Blackjacks got a freekick which was hit by Olov Åhman. After 69 played minutes, Vykans Vikingar's Per Kaxe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucas Eriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vykans Vikingar reached it. 71 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Per Samuelsson came free, but Anusruta Penisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Vykans Vikingar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Per Samuelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anusruta Penisson. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anusruta Penisson should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Kevin Allbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackjacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Blackjacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Allbom to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Odeen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's Alexander Milošević broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vykans Vikingar played a much better game than Blackjacks and deserved their victory. The Blackjacks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
