Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dick Tunberg got the match started through his kick off. Bernardino Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Tunberg in the 6th minute of play. Charles Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Fred Anselius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Allan Bäck made a huge save. After 12 played minutes Gafflarna IF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Giliusson. In the 13th match minute, Gafflarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. Allan Bäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Anselius in the 14th minute of play. Gafflarna IF's Allan Bäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Gafflarna IF from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Flock of Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Askberg to maneuver through the defense. When Kjell Morat fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gafflarna IF's protests and gave Kjell Morat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Morat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Anders Örtendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flock of Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gafflarna IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Flock of Eagles's Anders Örtendahl got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Dick Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anders Giliusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Anselius in the 41st minute of play forced Gafflarna IF's goalkeeper Allan Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Anselius made a kick off. Flock of Eagles's Arne Benett got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dick Tunberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Bernardino Gomez made a huge save. A collision led to Gafflarna IF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kjell Morat hit a great ball. Dick Tunberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bernardino Gomez made a huge save. Anders Giliusson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Allan Bäck came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Flock of Eagles's Fred Anselius. But to his dismay, Fred Anselius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Frank in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Bäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arne Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gafflarna IF getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kjell Morat hit a great ball. Allan Bäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Flock of Eagles were awarded a corner. Fred Anselius went to the cornerflag to take it. Dick Tunberg's late challenge caught a Flock of Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Tunberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's Fred Anselius broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Kjell Morat was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Gafflarna IF's Kjell Morat got a free kick in the 91st minute. Flock of Eagles's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
