Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfred Källberg started the match with the kick off. Pål Lindman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Verner Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Källbergs short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Göran Hellqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Söderhall's Göran Hellqvist got control of the ball when Alfred Källberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Söderhall's Bertil Öfverman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Gustavsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Söderhall's Olov Albom got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Söderhall's Göran Hellqvist got control of the ball when Alfred Källberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Göran Hellqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute Sten Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verner Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Söderhall's Edmund Gerdberg. But to his dismay, Edmund Gerdberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bertil Öfverman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Gustavsson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bertil Öfverman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Verner Gustavsson was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Sten Lund took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Verner Gustavsson. Verner Gustavsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 45th minute Sten Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Höglunda IK defense, Bertil Öfverman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verner Gustavsson. The Höglunda IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verner Gustavsson should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Gerdberg to make the kick off. Tobias Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Alfred Källberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höglunda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Göran Hellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvig Vallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Verner Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Lund. Verner Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Öfverman in the 65th minute. After 71 played minutes Pål Lindman rounded Höglunda IK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Höglunda IK's Verner Gustavsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Höglunda IK from getting a goal against them. Olov Albom kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Verner Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Josef Sjöberg hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Pål Lindman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Verner Gustavsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Tobias Barck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höglunda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Söderhall walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
