The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Arenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Hockeysnubbarnas BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Björn Lövskog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Åhlberg. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Gafflarna IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Frank Jakobsson scored to the left of an out of position Henry Åhlberg, making the score, 3-0. Frank Jakobsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henry Åhlberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Henry Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Lövskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Björn Lövskog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Åhlberg was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Henry Åhlberg made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Frank Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes, Björn Lövskog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hockeysnubbarnas BK and the Gafflarna IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Björn Lövskog kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gafflarna IF's Henry Åhlberg got control of the ball when Björn Lövskog tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Åkerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Björn Lövskog to make the kick off. Stig Lindell's late challenge caught a Hockeysnubbarnas BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Lindell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Stig Lindell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frank Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gafflarna IF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kurt Arenius hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Gafflarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Dick Tunberg in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Wictor Holmgren. A collision led to Gafflarna IF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kjell Morat hit a great ball. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Hockeysnubbarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Albin Lund. Hockeysnubbarnas BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
