Ove Hökkvist scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Verner Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Verner Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Hökkvist in the 17th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ove Hökkvist sped through Höglunda IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Verner Gustavsson. When Melker Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Höglunda IK's protests and gave Melker Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Höglunda IK got a freekick which was hit by Melker Abrahamsson. Leif Carlsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Ove Hökkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Gustavsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Verner Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Bäck in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Mathias Bäck made a precise shot to the right of Verner Gustavsson. Höglunda IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 43 minutes into the game, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Ove Hökkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Gustavsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Källberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Verner Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Källberg struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Magnus Hedman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Höglunda IK. Magnus Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Källberg in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Ove Hökkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Verner Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verner Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Hökkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Höglunda IK defense, Aleksander Åström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verner Gustavsson. The Höglunda IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verner Gustavsson should have stopped the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Alfred Källberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Höglunda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Källberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Melker Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Lite Finare Lite Bättre left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Höglunda IK.
