Hans Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Brandt in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fred Anselius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Igelström was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Holm got free with Ted Igelström in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ted Igelström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Holm in the 11th minute. Hans Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Per-Olof Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Bergstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Lundgren came free, but Hans Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Olof Brandt took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans Bergstedt. Hans Bergstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 24th minute of play forced Flock of Eagles's goalkeeper Hans Bergstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 26th minute of play. Flock of Eagles's Hans Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Brandt in the 28th minute of play. Hans Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Kjellman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hans Bergstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Per-Olof Brandt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Bergstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Bratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Anselius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Ted Igelström made a huge save. Flock of Eagles's Hans Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Anselius made a kick off. Ted Igelström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Anselius in the 52nd minute of play. Flock of Eagles's Fred Anselius was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ted Igelström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thor Lundgren struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Hans Bergstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Nation Army. In the 59th minute, Thor Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mats Jönsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, one of Flock of Eagles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flock of Eagles. After 72nd play minutes Per-Olof Brandt shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Hans Bergstedt and just under the crossbar into goal. Håkan Holm hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Flock of Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Frank didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Thor Lundgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Hans Bergstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Flock of Eagles's Hans Bergstedt got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Kjellman tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Flock of Eagles getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Julian Frank hit a great ball. Johannes Bammerman charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Bammerman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Igelström having to interfere. Håkan Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Ted Igelström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleven Nation Army's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
