The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Agne Hjälm hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Trixande Fåglar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Holm to maneuver through the defense. Arvid Jansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joacim Rudberg in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, SoS FC's Joacim Rudberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Olov Borre fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SoS FC's protests and gave Olov Borre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SoS FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Olov Borre hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Tommy Stenqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trixande Fåglar BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SoS FC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Tommy Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bongbong Dunđer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Mats Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Trixande Fåglar BK's Arvid Jansson got control of the ball when Mats Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Blom in the 22nd minute of play forced Trixande Fåglar BK's goalkeeper Arvid Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, SoS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bongbong Dunđer came free, but Eddie Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Pettersson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Arvid Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SoS FC. After 35 played minutes SoS FC got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Rudberg. Trixande Fåglar BK's Dan Rönn got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Joacim Rudberg made the kick off in the second half. Eddie Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Rönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Arvid Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. SoS FC's Eddie Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Rönn in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Trixande Fåglar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Pettersson came free, but Arvid Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Rudberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bongbong Dunđer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Mats Pettersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SoS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, SoS FC's Mats Pettersson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Mats Pettersson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvid Jansson. Arvid Jansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. SoS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
