Arne Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Vennerdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Garsås IF's Alfons Lundkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ingmar Åberg in the 17 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Charles Vennerdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Gabrielsson was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Lucas Bengtsson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Almaröds FF's Ingmar Åberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Garsås IF's Charles Vennerdal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Gabrielsson. Arne Gabrielsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Ingmar Åberg was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ingmar Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Sakarias Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Gabrielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Charles Vennerdal sped through Almaröds FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arne Gabrielsson.

52 minutes into the match, Charles Vennerdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Gabrielsson. Almaröds FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Vennerdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Almaröds FF's Arne Gabrielsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Ingvall kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Arne Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Vennerdal in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Johan Apelquist during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Vennerdal in the 89th minute of play forced Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Arne Gabrielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Vennerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Gabrielsson having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Garsås IF had played much better football throughout.
