Börge Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Hansson in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Ted Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilla Jordberga BK's Sven-Olof Zander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Lilla Jordberga BK from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Håkan Joensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börge Forss. Himna FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Joensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Himna FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Karl-Ove Bolander hit a great ball. Börge Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Hansson in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Börge Forss came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Lilla Jordberga BK's Håkan Joensson. But to his dismay, Håkan Joensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Börge Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Hansson in the 37th minute of play. Ian Abrahamsson's late challenge caught a Lilla Jordberga BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Abrahamsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Ian Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börge Forss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christopher Örn went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Börge Forss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Örn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Lilla Jordberga BK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Christopher Örn struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Börge Forss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lilla Jordberga BK. 53 minutes into the match, Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Hansson. Börge Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Himna FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Stephansson to maneuver through the defense. Börge Forss was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michael Dubois. In the 57th minute Christopher Örn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Forss made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ted Hansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st play minute Håkan Joensson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Börge Forss. 0-4. 66 minutes into the game, Lilla Jordberga BK's Ted Hansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börge Forss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Ted Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ted Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Börge Forss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Karl-Ove Bolander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Himna FF and the Lilla Jordberga BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lilla Jordberga BK booed when Himna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Bolander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Einar Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Forss having to interfere. Mats Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Zander having to interfere. Himna FF's Börge Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Joensson in the 80th minute of play. Håkan Joensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Börge Forss made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Hansson got free with Börge Forss in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Himna FF's Börge Forss got control of the ball when Börje Vibjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Börge Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Joensson in the 96th minute of play. The Himna FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lilla Jordberga BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
