The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Claes Forss struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Joacim Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pauliström. In the 33rd minute, Isaac Västberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joacim Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. André Tolsson's late challenge caught a Jonstorp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Tolsson helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Magnusson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josef Lundblad. Pauliström's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Claes Forss made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Glad in the 71st minute of play forced Jonstorp FK's goalkeeper Joacim Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Tomas Lagerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pauliström's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jonstorp FK the free kick. Jonstorp FK's Victor Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonstorp FK's Niclas Rydberg in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pauliström.
