Philip Mattsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. André Tolsson hit a great ball. Claes Forss took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Mattsson. Philip Mattsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Pauliström's Isaac Västberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the FK Ekebo defense, Birger Klint kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Mattsson. The FK Ekebo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Mattsson should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes FK Ekebo got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Törnkvist. FK Ekebo's Philip Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Västberg in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Birger Klint notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FK Ekebo's Philip Mattsson. Philip Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, André Tolsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pauliström fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Frans Mellin put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK Ekebo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! When the match clock showed 50 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Isaac Västberg sped through FK Ekebo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Mattsson. The FK Ekebo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pauliström were winning 0-8.

FK Ekebo made a substitution. Marko Sundin replaced Viggo Engström. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Hellström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Pauliström's Philip Mattsson threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claes Forss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 62 played minutes André Tolsson rounded FK Ekebo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. Philip Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Forss in the 69th minute of the match. Philip Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. André Tolsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Philip Mattsson made a huge save. After having played for 74 minutes, Marko Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Ekebo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Sundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Robert Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, FK Ekebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. Philip Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Tolsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Pauliström's Philip Mattsson threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Glad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Marko Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Lundblad having to interfere. In the 99th minute Claes Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Philip Mattsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 102nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Pauliström's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
