Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilbert Åkesson got the match started through his kick off. After 7 minutes of play, Rönnöfors FF's Louie Sheppard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Backman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Ahlgren's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Ahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Louie Sheppard made a precise shot to the right of Kent Backman. Norrlands Athen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Osvald Ahlstedt, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kent Backman came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnöfors FF's Vincent Olofsson. But to his dismay, Vincent Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Kent Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Norrlands Athen defense, Louie Sheppard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Backman. The Norrlands Athen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Backman should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Olofsson came free, but Kent Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Louie Sheppard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Apelkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rickard Andreasson charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rickard Andreasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Rickard Andreasson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Norrlands Athen's Kent Backman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. When Rönnöfors FF's Rickard Pihlberg in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norrlands Athen's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Louie Sheppard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Backman. Norrlands Athen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louie Sheppard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Vincent Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Pihlberg came free, but Kent Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Birger Apelkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rönnöfors FF and the Norrlands Athen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Osvald Ahlstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rönnöfors FF the free kick. Rickard Pihlberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Louie Sheppard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kent Backman made a huge save. Kent Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Pihlberg in the 76th minute of the match. Rickard Andreasson was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 78 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Kent Backman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Louie Sheppard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Olofsson in the 81st minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Kent Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Rönnöfors FF's Louie Sheppard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Backman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Rickard Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Backman having to interfere. In the 88th minute Rickard Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Pihlberg in the 89th minute of the match. Louie Sheppard took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kent Backman. Kent Backman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.
