Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Larsson in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Dag Larsson made a precise shot to the right of Åke Gustafsson. Ghost Hunters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sven-Ove Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gustav Vollander made a huge save. In the 36th minute Dag Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Segelbut IF U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Thedins short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Gustav Vollander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Segelbut IF U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Segelbut IF U21's Dag Larsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Gustafsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Ghost Hunters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Segelbut IF U21 were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Ove Thedin was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Bäckman during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Sven Bäckman. Åke Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Gert Håkansson. Gustav Vollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Larsson in the 79th minute of play. Kalle Stolpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Segelbut IF U21's Patrik Boström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Gustafsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 89th minute, Segelbut IF U21's Dag Larsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Dag Larsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Åke Gustafsson to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Segelbut IF U21 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ghost Hunters throughout the match.
