The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 2 minutes on the clock, Adam Svanér commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 3rd match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Svanér to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes in the game Aaron Lindsten got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson got control of the ball when Magnus Gunnarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Johnsson got free with Åke Gustafsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Brovall during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Brian Glanselius hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Olof Fribäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Andréas Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. If Karl-Magnus Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bo Larsson made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andréas Johnsson immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Johnsson in the 71st minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Nyberg in the 77th minute of play. Karl-Magnus Nyberg scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Gustafsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes Asarum got a freekick which was hit by Olof Fribäck. When Dennis Lindkvist came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ghost Hunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Lindkvist couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Dennis Lindkvist got a free kick in the 90th minute. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Nyberg in the 93rd minute of play. Åke Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Nyberg in the 95th minute of the match. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Asarum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Asarum were the better team. Asarum's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
