Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Enström having to interfere. Börge Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Östman in the 12th minute of play. If Mark Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Mark Lundgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Övertorneå RK and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Övertorneå RK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mark Lundgren hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Östman came free, but Börge Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preator Edikt's Reine Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Örtendal in the 36th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Martin Dalberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nils-Erik Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börge Enström was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

In the 67th minute, Edvin Örtendal made a precise shot to the right of Reine Pettersson. Preator Edikt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börge Enström saved Övertorneå RK from getting behind. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Börge Enström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preator Edikt. Although Preator Edikt had been in control for most of the match, Övertorneå RK still came away with the win.
