Holger Edström didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when I Rossoneri's Almir Diamanti shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Holger Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Michael Odman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roger Björk made the kick off in the second half. Hans Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Edström having to interfere. I Rossoneri's Richard Haraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Josefsson in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, I Rossoneri's Hans Apelqvist got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Hans Apelqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. I Rossoneri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Apelqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Roger Björk made a precise shot to the right of Richard Haraldsson. I Rossoneri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, I Rossoneri's Jonas Koch got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 92 played minutes Cohaerentia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Abrahamsson. Almir Diamanti struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Holger Edström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for I Rossoneri.
