Jan-Ove Vesterberg was a little too slow when Timmy Bergendahl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Brandbergen Bears's Roy Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Kvarnström in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Anton Kvarnström notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brandbergen Bears's Roy Gudmundsson. Roy Gudmundsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Egil Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Gudmundsson having to interfere. The Brandbergen Bears players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Stockholm were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Bergendahl to make the kick off. Roy Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Vik in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Egil Bagge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Gudmundsson. Brandbergen Bears's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Bagge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Bergendahl in the 56th minute of the match. IFK Stockholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Bagge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Gudmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th match minute, IFK Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Lönn to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Timmy Bergendahl made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Ove Vesterberg. IFK Stockholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After having played for 79 minutes, Egil Bagge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Stockholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egil Bagge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Sundén hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Egil Bagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batu Artuç hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Brandbergen Bears's Dick Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Tunander came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
