Eddie Östman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bora Bora's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Valdemar Byström scored to the left of an out of position Ture Nyman, making the score, 4-0. Ture Nyman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Roland Dahlbom. With an all-out effort, The Gonzez's Ture Nyman threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aron Bengtsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Valdemar Byström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ture Nyman made a huge save. Ture Nyman made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Valdemar Byström sent off a good shot on target. The Gonzez's Roland Dahlbom shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ture Nyman but with some difficulty. After 46 played minutes The Gonzez got a freekick which was hit by Aron Bengtsson. When Valdemar Byström fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Gonzez's protests and gave Valdemar Byström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when The Gonzez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Byström was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Hök came free, but Ture Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Valdemar Byström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ture Nyman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. When The Gonzez's Aron Bengtsson in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ture Nyman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The The Gonzez fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when The Gonzez's Aron Bengtsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 80 minutes of play, The Gonzez's Elias Hök made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Nyman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, The Gonzez's Aron Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ture Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. If Valdemar Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bora Bora's Ture Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Bengtsson in the 95th minute of play. Ture Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gonzez's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
