With a little luck, Sunkens Surtröjor's Alfons Zander got control of the ball when Gilbert Lindman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes, Sebastian Bröms mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunkens Surtröjor and the Bora Bora players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bröms. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Lindman in the 12th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Alfons Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Alfons Zander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Ekberg. Jens Alebäck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfons Zander came out and tried to block the shot, but Jens Alebäck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Carl Ekberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Zander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 31st match minute, Sunkens Surtröjor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Gerdberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Carl Ekberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfons Zander skillfully saved the ball. Gilbert Lindman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Alfons Zander made a huge save. Jens Alebäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Alfons Zander made a huge save.

Tim Bollström's late challenge caught a Bora Bora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Bollström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when Sunkens Surtröjor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Bollström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Gustaf Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunkens Surtröjor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malte Gerdberg in the 60th minute. Sunkens Surtröjor's Malte Gerdberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ture Nyman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 63rd minute, Jens Alebäck made a precise shot to the right of Alfons Zander. Sunkens Surtröjor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 68th minute Nils-Åke Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Bora Bora's Jens Alebäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Zander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Alfons Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Benjamin Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Alebäck in the 82nd minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Alfons Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Lindman came free, but Alfons Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Lindman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match Staffan Westerberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfons Zander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Helge Bäckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Bernt Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bora Bora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Lund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bora Bora walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
