Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Sebastian Tolsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Folke Ersman was out of position in the 2 minute of play, and Gordon Strachan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gordon Strachan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 10 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Strachan. In the 11th minute of the match Karl-Johan Lekberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliott Levander skillfully saved the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Aaron Kvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Ersman. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Kvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Leeds United FC's Kennet Bergqvist in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sunkens Surtröjor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute Morgan Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Levander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Tolsson in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliott Levander saved Leeds United FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Sunkens Surtröjor defense, Aaron Kvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Ersman. The Sunkens Surtröjor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Ersman should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Leeds United FC booed when Sunkens Surtröjor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Bäckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sunkens Surtröjor's Folke Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Kvist in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Gary McAlister cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Folke Ersman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes in the game, Aaron Kvist dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Folke Ersman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Kvist.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Kvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Lennart Grubb's late challenge caught a Sunkens Surtröjor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Grubb helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when Leeds United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Kvist in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Lekberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary McAlister in the 60th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Folke Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Strachan. Sunkens Surtröjor's Karl-Johan Lekberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elliott Levander but with some difficulty. 64 minutes into the match, Gary McAlister notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Sunkens Surtröjor's Folke Ersman. Folke Ersman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Folke Ersman came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Leeds United FC's Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink. But to his dismay, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Leeds United FC defense, Gustaf Holmberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elliott Levander. The Leeds United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elliott Levander should have stopped the shot. Folke Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Kvist in the 77th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Folke Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Håning. Aaron Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Ersman having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Tim Bollström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Kvist in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Ersman saved Sunkens Surtröjor from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Gordon Strachan made a precise shot to the right of Folke Ersman. Sunkens Surtröjor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. In the 91st minute Aaron Kvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Ersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leeds United FC fully deserved thier win.
