After 3 minutes, Björn Svanström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oldham Athletic and the PP Plessydask players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Alegren came free, but Mattias Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliot Fagrell came out of the goal and Sten Bolander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the PP Plessydask defense, Sten Bolander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elliot Fagrell. The PP Plessydask fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elliot Fagrell should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Folke Füllkrug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PP Plessydask getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bertil Helander hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's Valentin Jonsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Boris Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mattias Pihlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
