An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Persson in the 18th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Samuel Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nykvarn's Michel Kinell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Nykvarn from getting a goal against them. Bernt Martinsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Czajka came free, but Samuel Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The spikarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Enström should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Harald Specht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Enström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Nordström to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Czajka in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Tomasz Czajka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Harald Specht got a free kick in the 60th minute. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Ayvaz Tigin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Strömbom in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Kinell saved Nykvarn from getting behind. Stig-Åke Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match, Viggo Samuelsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuel Enström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Strömbom came free, but Michel Kinell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ayvaz Tigin hit a great ball. spikarna's Kent Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Strömbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, spikarna's Tommy Strömbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Kinell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Nyström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 86th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Michel Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vidar Bjurström hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Stig-Åke Gunnarsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Enström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The spikarna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nykvarn's performance. The match ended with a win for Nykvarn.
