BK Värdsholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor Westerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Robert Kielstedt made a precise shot to the right of Joel Tolsson. BK Värdsholmen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 29 minutes of play, BK Värdsholmen's Håkan Eklund made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Brolin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Håkan Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Henry Brolin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mellansels stationsgäng's Tor Westerberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Håkan Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Henry Brolin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BK Värdsholmen's Peder Gernberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Henry Brolin came out of the goal and Håkan Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BK Värdsholmen had played much better football throughout.
