After 24 minutes of play, Idrottsklubben -03's Joel Wästerberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zebastian Göransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zebastian Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Sävedalen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Claes Håkansson hit a great ball. Joel Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Göransson having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Christian Walroth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sävedalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Idrottsklubben -03 the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Sävedalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Walroth to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Tingberg in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Östen Björk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 minutes, Petter Skoglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Erik Larsson was the one to do the kick off.
