The supporters of Åsbro Flåsegutter booed when Idrottsklubben -03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Hedkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agne Carlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Bollström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Östen Björk. Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Åsbro Flåsegutter getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Stefan Brummer hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Patrik Alström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Wahlström. After a rather tough play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Agne Carlsson got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Hellqvist in the 30th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Östen Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Åsbro Flåsegutter were awarded a corner. Morgan Lundkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Idrottsklubben -03's Östen Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Carlsson in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Lucas Skröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Östen Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Henry Wahlström made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Alström. Åsbro Flåsegutter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 47th match minute, Idrottsklubben -03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Åström to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Patrik Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Hedkvist in the 54th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Agne Carlsson came free, but Östen Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Joel Wästerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Idrottsklubben -03's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsbro Flåsegutter the free kick. With his leg Östen Björk managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Åsbro Flåsegutter's Jan-Erik Trillkott fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute, Morgan Lundkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Stig Pettersson fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idrottsklubben -03's protests and gave Stig Pettersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Stig Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
