After 62 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Kämpe. Torsten Berglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasiliy Kalmetev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Berglund ran back to his position shaking his head. Vasiliy Kalmetev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasiliy Kalmetev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Hultstrand came free, but Vasiliy Kalmetev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
