Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Kattvik kings's Kjell Wennerberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jens-Ola Samuelsson hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Kattvik kings got a freekick which was hit by Sten Stål. Sten Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Patrik Arhenius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Ingvall skillfully saved the ball. Jon Lagerberg scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harald Myr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Robert Nyman. Michael Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The Kronan fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Kronan's Anders Vennersten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Svante Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Hellkvist during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kronan's Bernt Hellkvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Bernt Hellkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Georg Ingvall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kattvik kings's Kjell Wennerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jon Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anders Vennersten was the one to do the kick off. Anders Vennersten's late challenge caught a Kattvik kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Vennersten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute of the match, Anders Vennersten tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Georg Ingvall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Kjell Wennerberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kattvik kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Wennerberg couldn't finish the play. Georg Ingvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Hellkvist in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kronan's goalkeeper Harald Myr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harald Myr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Wennerberg's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Kattvik kings's Kjell Wennerberg in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kronan's goalie prevented a goal. Bernt Hellkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Georg Ingvall came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernt Hellkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 85th minute. Georg Ingvall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Emil Österberg went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Bernt Hellkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Georg Ingvall could save by the left post. Georg Ingvall acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patrik Arhenius.
