Christoffer Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Eriksson in the 26th minute of play. HEJA ESLÖV's Simon Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Högström in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Karl-Michael Eriksson made a precise shot to the right of Christoffer Dahlquist. Newcastle United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Simon Bergsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Walmarsson in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Kleen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Michael Eriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christoffer Dahlquist. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aron Östman made the kick off in the second half. HEJA ESLÖV's Simon Bergsten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save HEJA ESLÖV from getting a goal against them. Kristoffer Kleen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Brodin in the 59th minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Kristoffer Kleen got a free kick in the 60th minute. Christoffer Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Walmarsson came free, but Simon Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes HEJA ESLÖV got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Kleen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Brodin in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Bergsten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Östman. In the 79th minute Isac Walmarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Bergsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HEJA ESLÖV's Alexander Törnblom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christoffer Dahlquist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Rickard Brodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Bergsten was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Odén didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aron Östman came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Newcastle United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Östman couldn't finish the play. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Brodin in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Daniel Brovall hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Gustaf Högström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bergsten was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
