Egil Åkerman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. The supporters of Woopbongo booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vit Snow didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Robert Onofrei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Egil Åkerman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Onofrei took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egil Åkerman. Egil Åkerman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 29th minute Ramon Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Åkerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Onofrei in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Ramon Totti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Åkerman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a rather tough play, Woopbongo's Gabin Lièvin got a free kick in the 41st minute. After recieving a nice pass, North Pole Kickers's Allan Jansson tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Villiam Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vit Snow hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

North Pole Kickers's Vilhelm Stålberg was substituted for Lucas Alberg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Tomasson made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in North Pole Kickers's zone, Lars Vik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Åkerman came out of the goal and Lars Vik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute Lars Vik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, North Pole Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vit Snow to maneuver through the defense. If Lars Vik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save North Pole Kickers from getting a goal against them. North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Totti in the 59th minute of play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Ramon Totti sped through North Pole Kickers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egil Åkerman. 64 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Tomasson came free, but Villiam Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Woopbongo's Lars Vik got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Vik in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Lars Vik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Lars Vik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egil Åkerman. Lars Vik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Krzysztof Liberko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woopbongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Liberko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Vik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egil Åkerman came out and tried to block the shot, but Lars Vik slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 84th minute. In the 92nd minute, North Pole Kickers's Vit Snow seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vit Snow the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of North Pole Kickers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vit Snow had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Woopbongo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
