In the 38th minute of the match, Samuel Hansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kaj Eriksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 42 minutes, Ivar Knutsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falconer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivar Knutsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in NovaStella FK's zone, Adam Wiberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaj Eriksson came out of the goal and Adam Wiberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Kilström's late challenge caught a Falconer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After a rather tough play, NovaStella FK's Sven Kilström got a free kick in the 46th minute. Kaj Eriksson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pelle Pilberg. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Håkansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaj Eriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Hansson's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 56 minutes NovaStella FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pelle Pilberg who took care of the corner kick. Pelle Pilberg made a great header on Falconer FC's corner, it was just that NovaStella FK's Kaj Eriksson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Jelm to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Pilberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kaj Eriksson. NovaStella FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Nord came free, but Kaj Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Bergren charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Bergren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. NovaStella FK made a substitution. Matthias Lindmark replaced Mikael Duset. Adam Wiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kaj Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Falconer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes, NovaStella FK's Patrik Jelm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Rudberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NovaStella FK reached it. During the 76th minute of the match Sven Kilström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sven Kilström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sven Kilström hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Pilberg came free, but Kaj Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Jelm kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
