In the 7th minute, August Wennerqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abel Ghost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Ciudad Tao FC were awarded a corner. Zaid Markström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Henley Utd's goalie and right to Jimmie Vennerlund. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Henley Utd's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Abel Ghost came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benjamin Enegren could save by the left post. After 27 minutes of play, Henley Utd's John Björkkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charlie Gustavsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Ghost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Benjamin Enegren made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Henley Utd's goalkeeper Benjamin Enegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmie Vennerlund. August Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jimmie Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Henley Utd's Benjamin Enegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ghost in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Henley Utd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Björkkvist was the one to do the kick off. Ciudad Tao FC's Jimmie Vennerlund got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Hansson in the 55th minute of play forced Henley Utd's goalkeeper Benjamin Enegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciudad Tao FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zaid Markström in the 58th minute. Charlie Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Wennerqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Henley Utd's John Björkkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Charlie Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc-Joel van Bronckhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Benjamin Enegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Hansson in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ciudad Tao FC's Charlie Gustavsson got control of the ball when John Björkkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Björkkvist struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Charlie Gustavsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henley Utd. Benjamin Enegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Hansson in the 83rd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Henley Utd got a freekick which was hit by August Wennerqvist. Abel Ghost's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Enegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Abel Ghost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Enegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Holmberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Wennerqvist in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charlie Gustavsson saved Ciudad Tao FC from getting behind. Benjamin Enegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Hansson in the 95th minute of play. The Henley Utd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
