The supporters of Rank 1 booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Dick Lindgren made a precise shot to the right of Axel Häll. Elefanterna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Vesterberg came free, but Axel Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Fisk's late challenge caught a Rank 1's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Fisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Rank 1's Klas Ståhlberg got control of the ball when Henrik Häger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rank 1's Staffan Söderqwist got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Conny Vesterberg put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Axel Häll. Johnny Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kristoffer Kondor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Vesterberg in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Häll prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Häger was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Elefanterna getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Isac Dahlquist hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Conny Vesterberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Häll. Elefanterna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conny Vesterberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Klas Ståhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Kondor, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The Rank 1 fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Rank 1's Conny Vesterberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kristoffer Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Elefanterna's Axel Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Vesterberg in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd play minute Staffan Söderqwist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Axel Häll. 0-9. Axel Häll came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Rank 1's Conny Vesterberg. But to his dismay, Conny Vesterberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. In the 83rd match minute, Elefanterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Iller to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Rank 1's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Häger came free, but Klas Ståhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klas Ståhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Häger in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Allbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Henrik Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Ståhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffan Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Häll having to interfere. The Elefanterna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rank 1 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
