Elefanterna's Kristoffer Kondor got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Fisk hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 李煜 Wu scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Brogren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Donostia came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stig-Åke Brogren could save by the left post. Stig-Åke Brogren made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ignacio Donostia sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Elefanterna getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Filip Fisk hit a great ball. Mark Dahlberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stig-Åke Brogren could save by the left post. After 28 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Martin Mört. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Kondor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Ignacio Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Billberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Kondor in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Häger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that 李煜 Wu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Åke Brogren was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Johnny Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elefanterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Ekeroth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elefanterna's Stig-Åke Brogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Donostia in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Häger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Adrian Billberg made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Johnny Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Billberg came out of the goal and Johnny Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, Elefanterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Fisk to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Ignacio Donostia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Stig-Åke Brogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elefanterna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
