An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 25th minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Börge Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Hogans Heroes's zone, Börge Kristiansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Carlsson came out of the goal and Börge Kristiansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Brovall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Kristiansson got free with Karl-Michael Carlsson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Paul Valrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Kristiansson got free with Karl-Michael Carlsson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 played minutes Hogans Heroes got a freekick which was hit by Lars Brovall. Strömsbro IF's Lukas Pilblad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paul Valrot in the 94 minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strömsbro IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
