A collision led to Medelpad U21 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Viggo Brandin hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Hector Casse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7th minute Rutger Beneth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Medelpad U21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthon Vestberg in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Svensson in the 13th minute of play forced Medelpad U21's goalkeeper Hector Casse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zebastian Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quico Head in the 15th minute of the match. Zebastian Österlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rutger Beneth's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Medelpad U21's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Svensson came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Per-Oskar Nord fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medelpad U21's protests and gave Per-Oskar Nord a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Oskar Nord hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when August Frisk got free with Hector Casse in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Julian Kisiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Rutger Beneth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zebastian Österlund. FC Blueskatterna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rutger Beneth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 37th minute, Rutger Beneth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medelpad U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quico Head in the 40th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Zebastian Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Medelpad U21's Viggo Brandin got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Medelpad U21's goalkeeper Hector Casse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Nässén. August Frisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hector Casse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Medelpad U21 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rutger Beneth to strike the kick off in the second half. Zebastian Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Beneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Filip Linqvist hit a great ball. Zebastian Österlund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anthon Vestberg. With a little luck, FC Blueskatterna's Zebastian Österlund got control of the ball when Quico Head tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simon Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rönn. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Anthon Vestberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medelpad U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthon Vestberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Österlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Zebastian Österlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Kisiel. Hector Casse came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Blueskatterna's Simon Svensson. But to his dismay, Simon Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 70th match minute, Medelpad U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Kisiel to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Julian Kisiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zebastian Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Beneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Blueskatterna's Zebastian Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Beneth in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Blueskatterna's Zebastian Österlund got control of the ball when Quico Head tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Medelpad U21's Viggo Brandin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Rutger Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Österlund having to interfere. Simon Svensson's late challenge caught a Medelpad U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Blueskatterna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anthon Vestberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Medelpad U21's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Medelpad U21's corner Anthon Vestberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zebastian Österlund quite easily take care of the ball. The Medelpad U21 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
