After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Olov Deckberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Nickler in the 9th minute of the match. Alexander Mendoza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arne Kilström. AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 19 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Harlén. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Nickler in the 22nd minute of the match. AIK FOTBOLL were furious when Viggo Harlén was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Harlén to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Alexander Mendoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel Bergendahl's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Bergendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Michel Bergendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Don Nickler came free, but Arne Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elof Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökberk Özgenc in the 43rd minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Elof Hedin made a precise shot to the right of Egon Olsson. Westra Aros SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in AIK FOTBOLL's zone, Gökberk Özgenc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Kilström came out of the goal and Gökberk Özgenc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elof Hedin in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egon Olsson saved Westra Aros SK from getting behind. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Pedro Paulo Mesquita replaced Elof Hedin. In the 69th match minute, Westra Aros SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Nickler to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paulo Mesquita scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egon Olsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the game, Tord Burman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westra Aros SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK FOTBOLL the free kick. Tord Burman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Benne Speed came free in the 75th minute and tried to tip the ball over Egon Olsson, but to the joy of Westra Aros SK's supporters the ball went over. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Westra Aros SK's Egon Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Mesquita in the 82nd minute of play. Egon Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. AIK FOTBOLL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Westra Aros SK for a fine match.
