Torbjörn Bohlin struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Örjan Söderström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Söderköping. 11 minutes into the match, Wargön's goalkeeper Örjan Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Holmstedt. Gustaf Flink hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Torbjörn Bohlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Örjan Söderström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Per-Oskar Möller in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Örjan Söderström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Örjan Söderström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torbjörn Bohlin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 29th match minute, IFK Söderköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Käller to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Bohlin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Roland Holmstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Söderköping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Örjan Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Lars-Erik Widberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well-hit corner resulted in Gustaf Flink heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Wargön getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. John Ödmann hit a great ball. Lars-Erik Widberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Sivert Bollström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Söderköping's Stig Ahlerot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The IFK Söderköping fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when IFK Söderköping's Roland Holmstedt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Wargön's Kenneth Lange slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig Ahlerot. That made the score 4-2 after 95 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wargön players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for IFK Söderköping.
