In the 28th minute of the match, Alessandro Clarkfeldt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stig Ahlerot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Napoleon Rydz's late challenge caught a IFK Söderköping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Napoleon Rydz helped the player get up and apologised. Napoleon Rydz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Söderbröder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Bäckström to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Axel Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Holmstedt in the 36th minute of the match. With his leg Karl-Axel Nyman managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when IFK Söderköping's Per-Oskar Möller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Söderbröder's Karl-Axel Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Söderbröder from getting a goal against them. Stig Ahlerot came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Söderbröder's Agapito Cabanela. But to his dismay, Agapito Cabanela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Söderbröder's Karl-Axel Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Söderbröder from getting a goal against them. Karl-Axel Nyman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Bohlin's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Roland Holmstedt from a close distance when the talented Karl-Axel Nyman managed to make a qualified save. Söderbröder's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Oskar Möller got free with Karl-Axel Nyman in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Oscar Hjortberg notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of IFK Söderköping's Stig Ahlerot. Stig Ahlerot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Söderbröder's Karl-Axel Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Söderbröder from getting a goal against them. IFK Söderköping's Stig Ahlerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Hjortberg in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Monte Valdovinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Bohlin struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Karl-Axel Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Söderköping.
