Thomas Stigsson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Verner Vesterberg put in a rough tackle. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ekedalen SK! Gustav Mårtensson had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Thomas Stigsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Edgar Lundin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Lost Boys Sports Academy fans jumped to their feet. Gert Myhr kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Greger Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Edgar Lundin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gustav Mårtensson to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Edgar Lundin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Gustav Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Clementsson in the 45th minute of play. Gustav Mårtensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Lundin in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ekedalen SK's Gustav Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Lundin in the 54th minute of play. Ekedalen SK's Adrian Benett got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ekedalen SK's zone, Edgar Lundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustav Mårtensson came out of the goal and Edgar Lundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Thomas Stigsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustav Mårtensson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lost Boys Sports Academy reached it. Gustav Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Allan Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Drewitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
