Pihl United's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Billock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Walter Tinglöf hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Sven-Olof Wästerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Ros came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Wästerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Ros made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Evert Söder sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
