The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Tomas Kråk put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Tomas Kråk got a free kick in the 4th minute. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Adelsköld in the 4th minute of play. Adam Karlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Tuncay Cansever could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Adam Karlberg made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when David Magnusson came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Tuncay Cansever had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Karlberg. Kopparmora BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuncay Cansever was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Edmund Wallander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kopparmora BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degerfors IF the free kick. Witold Serwacki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Karlberg. Kopparmora BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adam Karlberg was a little too slow when Tuncay Cansever got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuncay Cansever to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Kopparmora BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute, Tuncay Cansever made a precise shot to the right of Adam Karlberg. Kopparmora BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Adam Karlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuncay Cansever's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Degerfors IF fully deserved thier win.
