In the 15th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Well-Well Welle to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Kling came free, but Axel Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kopparmora BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Birger Adelsköld in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pajala Sunrise's SK Au slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adam Karlberg. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play.
