An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Lundström in the 8th minute of play forced AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Gustav Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Högberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that David Klementsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Elg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Öman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Lundström in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Termander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Jerry Högström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK and the FC Kurdistan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mats Elg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jerry Högström sent off a good shot on target. Gustav Termander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Litmanen in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes in the game, Jari Litmanen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Lundkvist in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, David Klementsson made a precise shot to the right of Mats Elg. FC Kurdistan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gustav Termander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Litmanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Lundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brown Bear didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Gösta Odeen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Elg. FC Kurdistan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gösta Odeen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Brown Bear hit a great ball. Gustav Termander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Lundström in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Lio came free, but Gustav Termander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Gösta Odeen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when August Liljeström came free, but Mats Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Gustav Termander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK from getting a goal against them. Gustav Termander made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Fabian Lundström sent off a good shot on target. Jan Lekberg charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Lekberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Lekberg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Jerry Högström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played.
