Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) IFK Gladdarna's Freddie Stenberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Ahlgren in the 5th minute of play forced IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Rickard Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brothers of Mercy's Jonathan Ahlgren in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Gladdarna's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the game, Göran Sundén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Gladdarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. A collision led to IFK Gladdarna getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Göran Sundén hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Kurt Hamrin made a precise shot to the right of Harry Vedholm. Brothers of Mercy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Bergqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Vedholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. IFK Gladdarna's Rickard Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Ahlgren in the 22nd minute of play. After 30 minutes, Arvin Lundkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brothers of Mercy and the IFK Gladdarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Lundkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Lundkvist was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Arvin Lundkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Brothers of Mercy's Harry Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 34th minute of play. Harry Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 36th minute of the match. The corner led IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Hamrin to fire away a dangerous shot which Harry Vedholm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Kurt Hamrin put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Harry Vedholm. Rickard Jakobsson stood somewhat misplaced when Jonathan Ahlgren came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 46 minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Ahlgren to make the kick off. Brothers of Mercy's Jonathan Ahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenny Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when IFK Gladdarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Hamrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rickard Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Ahlgren in the 60th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes IFK Gladdarna got a freekick which was hit by Göran Sundén. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Rickard Jakobsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lars-Erik Överman hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Harry Vedholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Hamrin. In the 71st minute, Göran Sundén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IFK Gladdarna's Rickard Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Ahlgren in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Liljeström. If Kristian Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Freddie Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Vedholm made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Kurt Hamrin sent off a good shot on target. If Lars-Erik Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded IFK Gladdarna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brothers of Mercy.
