In the 5th minute of the match, Wilhelm Jakobsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustaf Olofsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gazmor Tili took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thor Ekeberg. Thor Ekeberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Wyoming Cowboys booed when Slipmaskinerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosije Gavrić came free, but Thor Ekeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gustaf Olofsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Gazmor Tili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wyoming Cowboys and the Slipmaskinerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Slipmaskinerna made a substitution. Jimmy Tunberg replaced Alfons Norberg. A collision led to Wyoming Cowboys getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gazmor Tili hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Forssell in the 25th minute of play forced Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Gustaf Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Ekeberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosije Gavrić went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Gazmor Tili came free, but Thor Ekeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Fred Forssell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thor Ekeberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gazmor Tili went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, Wyoming Cowboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar McNamara to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The crowd rose to their feet as Wyoming Cowboys's Bennvar Ben slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thor Ekeberg. That made the score 0-4 after 54 minutes of play. When Gazmor Tili came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Wyoming Cowboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazmor Tili couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Gazmor Tili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thor Ekeberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Thor Ekeberg was a little too slow when Leif Jespersson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 67th minute, Gazmor Tili reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thor Ekeberg. The goal made the score 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gazmor Tili got free with Thor Ekeberg in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Jönsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Karlsson during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Rolf Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thor Ekeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Ben in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Wyoming Cowboys were awarded a corner. Leif Jespersson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Slipmaskinerna's goalie and right to Bennvar Ben. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Slipmaskinerna's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Slipmaskinerna's Rolf Karlsson got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Wyoming Cowboys's Gazmor Tili dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 84th minute Wilhelm Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Ben came free, but Thor Ekeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thor Ekeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Ben in the 89th minute of play. Thor Ekeberg made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Teodosije Gavrić sent off a good shot on target. Wyoming Cowboys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
