Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantin Mihu got the match started through his kick off. Virgil Lixandru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Tărău's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Constantin Mihu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Iacob Martinescu got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandu Bâru in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Lixandru saved Juventus PTM from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Mihu in the 13th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Walther Hörster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Lucrețiu Agulescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Lixandru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Virgil Lixandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agulescu in the 19th minute of play. Cornel Bourceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Walther Hörster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match BVB 09 got a corner. Juventus PTM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Vieru ran over to the corner to take the kick. BVB 09's Liviu Chesaru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Virgil Lixandru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute Constantin Mihu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Hörster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucrețiu Agulescu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Lixandru saved Juventus PTM from getting behind. If Lucius Gabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florin Tărău stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Lucius Gabor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus PTM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB 09 the free kick. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lucius Gabor hit a great ball. Virgil Lixandru was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Florin Tărău capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florin Tărău really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 55 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Florin Tărău. Walther Hörster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Mihu in the 56th minute of play. When Lucrețiu Agulescu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the BVB 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Agulescu couldn't finish the play. Andrea Gabor charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrea Gabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Andrea Gabor got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Mihu. If Cornel Bourceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Cornel Bourceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Hörster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Mihu in the 82nd minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Walther Hörster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Cornel Doman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walther Hörster quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mugur Silişteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Walther Hörster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Mihu in the 88th minute of the match. When Juventus PTM's Constantin Mihu in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BVB 09's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, one of BVB 09:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BVB 09. Walther Hörster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Mihu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The BVB 09 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BVB 09 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
