When Mihnea Jula came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Jula couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's zone, Matei Iorgu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Burca came out of the goal and Matei Iorgu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Matei Iorgu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Iorgu couldn't finish the play. Gigel Bălan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Laurențiu Burca was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Viorel Stănciulaş capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viorel Stănciulaş really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Panait Dănescu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cristinel Gabriel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Fc Gheraseni. If Damian Arapașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
