Anton Stolnicu's late challenge caught a Juventus PTM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Stolnicu helped the player get up and apologised. Club Vertigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantin Mihu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nikulás Benediktsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Bourceanu in the 25th minute of play. Aurelian Mănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Nikulás Benediktsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Mihu in the 29th minute of the match. Anton Stolnicu was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nikulás Benediktsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Mihu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Cornel Doman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikulás Benediktsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cornel Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Constantin Mihu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantin Mihu to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikulás Benediktsson was a little too slow when Cornel Bourceanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Văleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikulás Benediktsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Bourceanu in the 60th minute of play. Cornel Doman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornel Bourceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikulás Benediktsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Constantin Mihu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus PTM's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Mihu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikulás Benediktsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lucius Gabor hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Nikulás Benediktsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Dănilă kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Juventus PTM's Constantin Mihu in the 72nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nikulás Benediktsson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Vertigo through an amazing save. Cornel Bourceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Văleanu during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikulás Benediktsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Mihu in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Valer Donici got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson got control of the ball when Cornel Bourceanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Bourceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nikulás Benediktsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Juventus PTM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Hosu to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Constantin Mihu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nikulás Benediktsson, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Mihu in the 91st minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Nikulás Benediktsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Juventus PTM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
